Rio Grande Valley, TX (May 24, 2023) -- Today, IDEA Toros College Preparatory announced a partnership with Cobalt Sports Holdings that includes a complete brand transformation with a new name and crest. Starting today and in the upcoming 2023-2024 season, IDEA Toros Fútbol Academy will be representing the Rio Grande Valley in the MLS Next Player Development Platform.

This partnership brings together two elite institutions in the U.S. MLS Next, which the top league in North America for boys’ youth soccer. IDEA Toros College Preparatory is also on the national stage, ranking in the top 1% of high schools in the U.S. according to the U.S. News and World Report.

IDEA Toros FA has also announced MLS Next tryouts for players interested in the Rio Grande Valley on the following dates:

When: June 13 – 15, 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
